All of our puppies are from private breeders. Every Breeder is USDA licensed with no infractions over the last three years. We buy from professional and regulated breeders.We are licensed in palm beach county and our store is inspected regularly by Animal control.

We opened our store in 2010 as a family business. We love what we do and have plans for a very long future.

HOW OLD ARE YOUR PUPPIES?

Our puppies vary in age but we never have a puppy under 8 weeks of age.

CAN I SPECIAL ORDER A PUPPY?

If there is a puppy that we do not have in our store we can special order it for you from one of our reputable breeders.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCING?

We offer financing through WAGS Financing. You can fill out the application on our website or come into the store and we can walk you through the process.

DO YOUR PUPPIES HAVE THEIR SHOTS?

All our puppies vaccinations are up to date. Our Vet visits our store weekly and sees our puppies and ensures their overall good health. All vaccinations are done at our store with proper paperwork that accompanies each puppy to their new family home.

DO YOU HAVE GROOMING?

We have Bark Avenue Grooming within our store. We groom Monday through Saturday. Please call to set up an appointment in our grooming shop.

Here’s the scoop on when you might be able to get better sleep, plus why your dog is waking at night and how to help them sleep for longer periods of time.

My Puppy Played All Day, so Why Aren’t They Sleeping?

There can be a few different reasons why your puppy isn’t able to settle down and get into a good sleeping pattern:

If you just brought your Shih-Tzu pup home, they can be unfamiliar with the new surroundings. The new sights, smells, and sounds can either be frightening or overstimulating, not allowing them to settle and sleep.

This is their first time away from their mom and siblings. They’ve just spent eight weeks cuddled up to mom and siblings for all their sleep, so the new environment can feel isolating.
Puppies are small, so you can imagine their bladders are tiny. They need to use the bathroom throughout the night until they grow large enough to hold it through the night.

You can help your Shih-Tzu or Shih-Tzu mix adjust to sleeping through the night. The most important things you can provide include:

A comfortable place to sleep
Plenty of exercise throughout the day
Final potty breaks right beforehand to make sure they’ve both urinated and defecated before bedtime
Close proximity to you
Something to chew on to help them settle and release anxiety
