The Havanese breed is a short-legged small dog. The sturdy canine is lively and is constantly found wearing a gentle expression. The Havanese is a smooth coated breed, where the adult coat can grow from 6 to 8 inches and can have a pearly sheen. Eye rims, nose, and lips are usually black unless they are a true chocolate dog. The Havanese can come in many colors including cream, white, silver, black, blue, and gold. Havanese dogs are usually happy and lively dogs and generally have a unique and cheerful disposition.
